Brown Fused Alumina is made of three materials of alumina, coke, scrap iron to melt and reduction in electric furnace under 2000 degree centigrade. It coloured dark brown as it called. Its chemical component is aluminium oxide, occupied about 95% to 97%, the other is a few iron, silicon, titanium, etc.  It can be used of making refractory materials, ceramics, bonded abrasives, and other grinding and polishing , blasting, precision casting, etc.

The brown fused alumina has the feature of high degree of purity, bulk density, high self-sharpening speciality, good toughness, few magnetic materials. The abrasives tools made of brown fused alumina is grinding sharpness, low heat production, high grinding ratio, convenient to use.  

It can be used to made many kinds of ceramic products, high resin bonded abrasives and grinding or polishing, etc.

Application: It can be used for making ceramic grinding wheels, resin grinding wheels, nylon wheels, sandpaper and other abrasive tools; it is suitable for sandblasting, polishing, grinding products and other abrasive materials.
