White fused aluminum/white corundum/Aluminum oxide abrasive, a kind of high-grade refractories, was made from the high quality alumina by melting above 2000 in the electric arc furnace and cooling. It is white with the main crystal phase alpha-Al2O3. The white alumina produced in titling electric arc furnace has the advantage of high bulk density and low porosity and the volume stability and thermal shock resistance can be improved.

White fused alumina is the high grade refractory raw material, main crystal system isα- Al2O3, white color.

performance and so on, it is can be used for shell making material of heavy steel casting, especially the alloy
casting, core sand, coating material and melt film precision casting, and it is also can be used as half precision
blasting and precision blasting material for hardened steel, alloy steel and so on.

This kind of white fused alumina electrically fused in arc furnace with high grade processed alumina as raw
material. It has higher hardness and slight lower toughness comparing with brown fused alumina. It is also
characterized by its high purity, ability of self-sharpening, better cutting, less heat emit, higher efficiency,
acid and alkali resistance, good thermal stability. As the abrasive materials, it is suitable for grinding high-
speed, high carbon steel, as loose grains, it widely used for bonded and coated abrasives , polishing,
precision casting and so on.
