Product coding rules for grinding wheels

The grinding wheel is a circular bonded abrasive tool with a through hole in the center made of abrasives and binders.

41, according to international convention, refers to:

T41- Parallel Grinding Wheel, T42- Cymbal Cut-off Grinding Wheel, T27- Cymbal Grinding Wheel

 

A means Abrasive:

A- Brown Corundum,

WA- White Corundum,

C- Black Silicon Carbide,

GC- Green Silicon Carbide,

AC- Mixed Abrasive,

SA- Single Crystal Corundum,

MA- Microcrystalline Corundum,

BA- Black Corundum,

ZA- Zirconium Corundum,

PA- Chrome Corundum,

FA- Semi-Brittle Corundum,

SG- Ceramic Corundum,

SC- Cubic Silicon Carbide,

BC- Boron Carbide,

D- Diamond

 

30 means Abrasive Grit: 16, 20, 24, 30, 36, 40, 46, 54, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 120, 150, 180, 220 (the finest is called micro powder)

 

Q means Grinding wheel hardness: F, Q, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, Y
4 means Organization number: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 based on the volume ratio of the abrasive in the grinding wheel
B means Bond type
F means Enhanced type
